CONCERT: Grimner / Vanquisher

Äntligen händer det! Grimner kommer till Malmö för första gången någonsin!

Grimner har sedan 2008 levererat sin unika blandning av folk och metal. Efter sitt hyllade album “Frost Mot Eld” tog karriären fart för bandet som under de senare åren har varit ute på flertalet svängar i Europa. I november 2022 släppte bandet ett nytt album “Urfader”. Med nysläppt material i bagaget kommer Grimner till Malmö för ett maxat liveset av nytt och gammalt!

Med sig som special guest har de inga andra än de lokala barbarerna ifrån Vanquisher.

Vanquisher skildrar historierna om Cimmeriern Conan och den Hyborianska Tidsåldern, temat genomsyrar hela deras framträdande både musikaliskt och visuellt. 2022 släppte Vanquisher sitt debutalbum "An Age Undreamed of" - ett intensivt och episkt heavy metal paket som följer traditioner från band så som Eternal Champion, Manilla Road och Manowar.

GRIMNER Swedish vikings and folk metallers Grimner incorporate folk instruments into their own melodic yet dynamic brand of metal. In 2018, Grimner released a new full length album “Urfader”. During the band’s 15 years of existence Grimner has established themselves in the folk metal scene: 4 album releases (plus 3 EPs), and performing major metal festivals around Europe. Their two latest albums “Vanadrottning” and “Urfader” have received outstanding reviews thanks to their thrilling and fresh sound. On stage Grimner gives a dynamic, intensive and jovial performance. VANQUISHER Vanquisher tells the epic tales of Conan the Cimmerian and the Hyborian Age written by Robert E. Howard and embraces the theme fully both musically and visually. The sword and sorcery laden epic heavy metal quintet from Sweden follows the best traditions of fellow bands such as Eternal Champion, Manilla Road and Manowar.

2022 saw the release of Vanquisher's debut album "An Age Undreamed of" together with Stormspell Records - mixed and mastered by Niklas Johansson (Tungsten/Hulkoff). The release was followed up with a few live shows like Kristianstad Rockfest, Rock and Rona RockFest and a Release Party at Plan B (even serving a special beer by Heavy MetAle themed for the event).

Having constructed their own studio and rehearsal space "Stronghold Studios" during the time of the pandemic Vanquisher is now back in full strength and currently forging the next chapter.
