Johannes Astrup has had a short but intense trip in the fast-moving techno scene of Copenhagen. As a co-founder of Seaworld Tekno Klub, he has organized many underground events in the Danish capital. Lately, his career took a turn as he became co-founder and resident DJ at Copenhagen's new nightclub Den Anden Side.

Johannes Astrup is unmistakably influenced by the fast style of techno that is synonymous with his hometown. A DJ-set with Johannes behind the decks is an invitation into a loudly pumping machine room of rolling drums and crunchy percussion. He is fearlessly juggling around with beats, mercilessly mixing at breakneck speeds often playing 3 tracks at the same time, while always exploring new corners of the techno landscape.
